In September
We are learning to...(WALT):
Students have been learning how to count by 1's, 5's and 10's to 100. We have also been working on number writing and recognition. Take some time to help your child further develop their number skills at home. This can be done playing card games, Snakes and Ladders and counting in the car anytime! You can even get your child counting nickels and dimes at home! This is great counting and will help your child become more families with the names and values of different coins.
Students have also been hard at work learning how to make and count tally marks, ten frames and by using base tens.
